Fancy an exciting experience full of creativity, innovation, technology and fun?

Then we’re looking for you!

At Electronic Fields, the Electronic Art and Free Technologies Festival of the Southern Countryside of Extremadura, we need your help to make this event even more amazing. If you join us as a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of electronics and art while working on a variety of essential tasks.

Here are some ways you can contribute as an Electronic Fields 2023 volunteer:

  • Welcome people: Be the friendly face that greets our artists, participants and audience. Your smile will make everyone feel welcome.
  • Look after the exhibitions: Help open and close the exhibitions, take care of the artworks and explain to visitors the fascinating pieces we are exhibiting – of course, we’ll explain them to you first!
  • Collect feedback: Help our audience share their thoughts and opinions about exhibitions, workshops and events so that we can quantify our successes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Take photos and videos and participate in our social media: If you are a lover of photography and/or video and social media, you can capture special moments and share them on our Instagram and other social media accounts.
  • Assist at the various events: Accompany us in all activities, making sure everything runs smoothly and being ready to act if any problems arise.
  • Help us in the workshops: If you have technical or artistic skills, you will be a great help in our workshops, supporting the people who teach them.
  • Help us with logistics: Help print badges for artists, label exhibitions and perform other important logistical tasks.
  • Help us with English: If you speak English, even a little, that would be great! You would help us to provide a better welcome to international visitors, both the public and artists and other participants.

As a volunteer, you will receive a festival pass that will give you access to all our events, a volunteer certificate and access to lunch or dinner with the rest of the team from Friday 27th to Sunday 28th October. Most importantly, you will have an unforgettable experience!

Citizen transport network

At Electronic Fields, we value the importance of shared mobility, energy savings and emissions reduction. That’s why we are looking for additional volunteers to help with our transport tasks during the festival. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Share your car: If you are coming in your vehicle to one of the Electronic Fields activities and you have extra space, you can offer it to other attendees who need transportation. It’s a great way to meet new people and make the festival more accessible to everyone.
  • Be part of our transport network in Llerena: During the three days of the festival we will organise car sharing and a bus from the Plaza de Espa帽a in Llerena to take artists and visitors to the different activities of the festival. Do you have a vehicle and want to be part of our regular transport network between the different venues of Electronic Fields 2023?
  • Join our group of volunteer drivers with a car: Would you like to join our Production team and help us to form a citizen transport network to attend to artists, collectives and speakers at Electronic Fields 2023? Some of our guests come from different parts of Spain and conventional means of transport do not reach Llerena, so we have to pick them up at the beginning of the festival and take them to different points nearby when it ends. Come and live a unique experience, providing an essential service for the festival!

The organisation covers the costs of petrol and provides you a per diem if you offer your vehicle and your time for either of the latter two cases. Of course, you will also receive a pass for all festival activities and a certificate of voluntary work!
